• Measures the angle of rotation caused by passing polarized light through an optically active substance • Adjustable eyepiece brings the 2 half shadows of your sample into sharp focus • Right-side shading indicates a dextrorotatory sample and left-side shading indicates a levorotatory sample • Vernier scale, rotations can be measured to an accuracy of ±0.1° • Includes 100 mm and 200 mm sample cells with bubble trap
